We’re thrilled to share that we’re participating in the 2026 Salt Lake Parade of Homes, and this year is a big one. The Parade is celebrating its 80th anniversary as the nation’s very first Parade of Homes, dating all the way back to 1946. We’re proud to be part of that legacy, and we can’t wait to welcome you into one of our favorite homes yet: the Grand Slam + Rooftop Open Living Model in our Downtown Daybreak community.

A modern three-story townhouse complex with large windows, balconies, and brick exterior, illuminated warmly at sunset. Stairs and landscaped plants line the front entrances along the sidewalk.

Key Takeaways

  • The 2026 Salt Lake Parade of Homes runs July 31 – August 15, open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 PM to 9 PM (closed Sundays and Mondays).
  • We’re showcasing our Grand Slam + Rooftop Open Living Model in Downtown Daybreak, one of over 30 homes featured across Salt Lake and Tooele Counties this year.
  • Touring the Parade gives prospective buyers a rare, no-pressure way to compare builders, floor plans, and finishes all in one trip.
  • Tickets are $25 for the public ($12 for SLHBA members) and grant access for the full run of the Parade.
  • Our model home features a sky-room, rooftop deck, café-style kitchen, and two fireplaces, all just steps from the Bees Stadium and Downtown Daybreak’s restaurants and shops.

Why the Parade of Homes Is Worth Your Time (Even If You’re Not Buying Tomorrow)

If you’ve never been to a Parade of Homes, here’s what makes it different from a typical model home tour: you get to walk through dozens of homes from dozens of builders, all within about a two-week window, without ever feeling like you’re being sold to. That’s a huge advantage if you’re early in your search and still figuring out what you actually want in a home.

Wandering through the Parade lets you do a few things you just can’t do scrolling listings online. You can compare craftsmanship side by side, and the difference between builders becomes obvious fast once you’re standing in the actual spaces. You can get real design inspiration, from kitchen layouts to trending finishes, even if you end up building somewhere else entirely. And you can talk directly to the people behind the homes, asking the kind of detailed questions that are hard to get answered over email or a listing page.

This year’s Parade is especially exciting, marking 80 years of showcasing Utah’s best builders, with more than 30 homes on display ranging from cozy floor plans to sprawling luxury builds. It’s a great excuse to spend a summer day exploring what’s possible.

Come Tour Our Parade of Home in Downtown Daybreak

We chose to feature our Grand Slam + Rooftop Open Living Floorplan this year because it captures everything we love about building in Downtown Daybreak, a walkable, energy-filled South Jordan community sitting right next to the Bees Stadium, with restaurants, shops, and year-round local events just outside your door.

This particular home is packed with the kind of upgrades that make everyday living feel a little more elevated: a sleek café-style kitchen, two cozy fireplaces (one in the living room, one tucked into the sky-room), and a built-in wet bar that’s perfect for entertaining. The open-concept floor plan is flooded with natural light, and the layout flows easily from room to room, so it never feels closed off or cramped. Then there’s the showstopper: head up to the sky room and out onto the rooftop deck, where you’ll find some of the best views in the city and plenty of space for a future private hot tub.

At 2,720 square feet with 3 beds and 2.5 baths, this home strikes a balance between comfortable family living and true downtown energy. If you’ve been dreaming about ditching the long commute for a walk-to-everything lifestyle, this is exactly the kind of home worth seeing in person.

What to Expect When You Visit

Parade tickets are valid for the entire run of the event, so there’s no rush to see everything in one day. We’d suggest building in enough time to actually sit with a home rather than rush through it; notice how the light moves through the space, how the kitchen connects to the living areas, and how the rooftop deck feels at different times of day.

Our team will be on-site throughout the Parade to answer questions about the Sky Terrace Collection, the Downtown Daybreak community, financing options, and what it’s like to build with us. Whether you’re actively house hunting or just love touring beautiful new construction, we’d genuinely love to show you around.

A lively urban park scene with people walking, sitting, and playing on grass and paths, surrounded by trees, modern buildings, and a market. Some children play and adults chat, with a red truck and fountain in the background.
