- Unplug the disposal from the outlet beneath your sink
- Once the disposal is unplugged, use the provided tool to manually turn the blades in order to clear the disposal of any debris
- Once you’re done, plug your disposal into the wall outlet
- Make sure you have a constant flow of water when you turn on and off your disposal
