DIY Minute Maintenance Tips: Replace Air Filter

Replace Your Air Filter

We love spring for all its fresh, clean air – but let’s face it, we can do without the pollen! To keep the air in your home clear and healthy this season, be sure to replace the air filter in your furnace. In our latest installment of DIY Minute Maintenance Tips, we’ll show you, step-by-step, how easy it is to change your filter for optimum indoor air quality.

Follow these steps to replace your Bryant furnace filter in under a minute:

1) Open the filter cabinet.

2) Note that the air flow of the filter should be pointing up toward the furnace.

3) Gently remove the filter by sliding it out.

4) Gently slide the new filter in with the air flow going up toward the furnace.

5) Once you have correctly replaced the air filter, replace the filter cabinet door.

Remember, when using a MERV 11 air filter, be sure to replace it every 3-4 months for maximum performance!

That’s all there is to it! We hope you enjoy every minute of this wonderful season and breathe easy, both indoors and out.
